What Is a Small Group?
Small groups are groups of 8-15 adults that meet weekly for about an hour of conversation about life and the bible.
When, Where, and How Long Do Groups Meet?
This varies from group to group, however, most groups meet on Sunday mornings, on-campus, following a worship service. The Fall 2008 groups all begin September 14th and end November 16th.
Is Childcare Provided?
Yes, for groups that meet on-campus Sunday mornings. It varies for other groups.
What Kind of Different Groups Are There?
Some groups come together around different topics, such as sermon-based studies, life issues, or books of the bible. Other groups form around social commonalities (i.e. women’s group, quarterlife). Look for the list of small groups at the small group table or on our website.
What Will I Do in a Small Group?
Each meeting has a time of bible study and pointed questions for discussion. Most leaders will close in a short prayer.
What Does a Small Group Leader Do?
The leader facilitates each meeting and communicates with people in the group.
How Do I Join?
1) Fill out a Small Group connection card and turn it in on Sunday morning or to the office. 2) E-mail sylvia@anthemcross.org. 3) Go to www.anthemcross.org and click on the Small Group icon.
