LESSON 35- Running Away

The story of the lost son, from Luke 15

Big Idea for Parents
God delights in his children, even when there is nothing in us that is delightful! Due to how far and how much we wander, it’s easy to think, “God just puts up with us”. Jesus parable of the prodigal son shows that simply isn’t true. “Prodigal” means “spend money or resources in an extravagantly wasteful way.” This story is more about a prodigal God than a prodigal son, a God who loves his children extravagantly, even when they wander.
